4 Ways To Build Strong Christians – One is Meditation

Are you looking for ways to strengthen your relationship with God through your lifestyle? Reading the Bible and praying are the cornerstones of growing as a Christian, but there are additional ways to make sure you live a Christian life with a strong character.

1. Find a Christian Mentor or Accountability Partner

Have someone you can share your struggles and joys with. If you know someone who is strong in their faith, reach out and ask them to mentor you! Christians are called to build one another up, so having an accountability partner is a great way to be encouraged in your faith.

2. Join a Regular Prayer, Bible Study, or Christian Meditation Group

Stay connected to other Christians and learn more about your faith by joining a regular prayer, Bible study, or Christian Meditation group. Just like in Acts 2:42-47, having fellowship with other believers can provide you with support and encouragement as you grow in your relationship with God. If you’re looking for ideas for a good Christian Meditation group, see Atlanta Meditation.

3. Volunteer or Join an Active Christian Outreach Group in Your Church

Serve others by volunteering or joining an active outreach group through your church. This allows you to share the love of Christ with those around you, and it will build you up as a strong Christian too as you obediently serve the Lord.

4. Learn How to Meditate on God’s Word

The Bible makes a strong case throughout its pages for Christians to meditate. Christians are called to fill their mind with the Word of God and to meditate on God. An example is Joshua 1:8 which tells us to “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night.” Through this continual practice, you are letting the Bible fill your mind, eradicating previously believed lies, former thoughts, and habits. From this, you begin to walk, talk, and act like Jesus through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. If you are interested in learning how to meditate, look no further than to Stoic_Matchmaker where you will learn an active approach to meditation that is situation driven.

Building Strength as a Christian

You must remember that you are not perfect, and you will fall short of the glory of God. However, His grace helps you to keep moving forward. Striving to live a life that is pleasing to God can help you get closer and closer to Him every day, and these actions are great ways to live a servant-hearted life that is rooted in faith and love.
