The Stoicess’ Poem: Dad’s Partner Blocks His Children.

Dad’s new partner keeps him from us kids,
I must find a way to reach him before our relationship hits the skids.

Using past memories we have shared came to my mind,
I decided to build on them so our minds could be intertwined.

Pics of our times together I began sending to him daily,
I could feel in my heart that he received them gayly.

Much time passed, but Dad finally came through,
We spent off-the-book time together, and “Oh how” our relationship grew.

So as Isaiah said, “One must move the obstacles out of the way”,
I found my peace in life with my Dad, the two of us together – we’re the best show on Broadway.
