A big day at the Manhattan corporate office for you it is,
that upcoming promotion announcement just for you because you’re the whizz.

The hiring VP you’ve been working with for over a year,
has complimented you incessantly for everyone to hear.

You know you’re the frontrunner with your skill and foot in the door,
even your colleagues refused to apply for the job because everyone knows the VP is your mentor.

However, when the announcement is made, the name of the selectee is a new hire,
been with the company less than a month but has the reputation of being a ball of fire.

You think to yourself as your heart drops to the floor,
is it time to give up and head to the exit door?

The Bible teaches that when facing trials to consider it pure joy,
for such trials produce perseverance – making us a stronger alloy.

Based on these words, you decide to meet with the boss while keeping an open mind;
you’ll seek her comments and recraft your skillset, so in this profession, you’ll be top-notch and no longer malaligned.

And once you’ve completed reworking your skills,
you’ll look for jobs in a premier destination in which to work, play, and live – a phenomenal place called Beverly Hills.
