Never Give Up on Your Career – Stoicess’ Poem.

It’s been another trying week at the office;
One week you’re being praised, the next you’re being cautious.

Last week the boss congratulated you for coming up with this great idea;
This week your performance is unsatisfactory for not finding the company another panacea.

Then there’s your personal life with the part-time company you’re trying to get off the ground:
Your initial marketing plan failed, you pivoted, failed again, and now think you may never financially rebound.

Between the office and your part-time company, your enthusiasm for life has evaporated;
You’re tired, despondent, had enough of life, and wonder how those who are successful were differently created.

The book of Deuteronomy tells us to be strong and courageous and never be afraid or terrified;
for the Lord goes with us, never forsakes us – He will always be our guide.

And in reviewing the heroes of the past in the Bible,
you learn those who succeeded kept a strong faith in God which is so vital.

For God gives you resilience, that secret recipe to overcome obstacles and avoid easy surrender;
a skill developed and honed through the power of your mind against life’s challenges making you a great contender.

So, as life’s challenges now attempt to stop your progress;
you face those challenges with a mind – a mind you built – to always luminesce.
