Partner doesn’t want to go back to work.

Ever been in a relationship where your partner announced they didn’t want to go back to work? They just decide one day they’ve had enough, and it all falls on you?

Following their epiphany, they may start off helping more around the house, maybe take the kids places, bring you coffee each morning, and have your lunch ready for taking to work. However, over time, these kind acts seem to dwindle.

You notice they’re playing video games, hanging out with their buddies, enjoying their newfound hobby, and digging a little more deeply into the family piggy bank.

More and more gets piled on you. Not only are you working longer hours at the job, but the partner is also looking to you to handle everything at the home as well.

So, you ask yourself, “Is this a partnership or am I raising another child? What happened? Have there been signs? Did I miss some things of late that would have shown me what was on the horizon?”

From training with the Stoicess, you know to take a few moments and relive the past. And as you think back, you begin to recall signs you overlooked.

You let things slip by when not noticing because you were so busy taking care of everything and everybody.

So as you sit there reflecting on the past, you make a promise to yourself that you will Never, … Ever…., ignore the early warning signs again. A watchful eye you will always keep when in ANY relationship and address immediately those signs if they should appear.
